'Large Cottage Garden, Set of Three' by Botanical Art by Diane De Roo

This is a collection of 3 pieces that have been carefully designed to flow seamlessly into one another with the botanicals starting in one tile and spilling over into the next one. They invite you to step into an exuberant cottage garden overflowing with buds and blooms and leaves, all captured in perfect detail. The clematis vine hangs gracefully over the garden filled with lavender, penstemon, veronica and lady’s mantle. If you look closely you will see the nodding chive blossom and the poppy seed head with every tiny hair on the seed pod and stems made visible by the casting process.

Product Description

All of my botanical tiles are hand-cast from an original clay mold that I create using flowers from my garden. They reveal many delicate details that often are not noticed in real life - the tiny hairs on a stem, the intricate flower stamens and pistils, the tracing of veins on a leaf.

As every tile is handmade, the shade of the plaster and the exact dimensions may vary slightly. Each one comes ready to hang.  Famed versions of some of my casts are available - please contact me directly if you are interested.
