'Hydrangea Square Botanical Cast' by Botanical Art by Diane De Roo

Annabelle hydrangeas are one of my favourites and I have planted them where I can look out at them from my studio every day.  In this cast the delicate new blooms intertwine gracefully, as they do in my garden.

Did you know that the hydrangea symbolizes love? If you look closely you will see that each tiny floret is the shape of a heart! 

Product Description:

All of my botanical tiles are hand-cast from an original clay mold that I create using flowers from my garden. They reveal many delicate details that often are not noticed in real life - the tiny hairs on a stem, the intricate flower stamens and pistils, the tracing of veins on a leaf.
