'Hydrangea Mini Botanical Cast' by Botanical Art by Diane De Roo

This cast uses the small new blooms of the long-lasting Annabelle hydrangeas that grow all along the front of my studio. Even the pair of tiny new leaves under the flower head is visible!

Did you know that the hydrangea symbolizes love? If you look closely you will see that each tiny floret is the shape of a heart! 

Product Description:

All of my botanical tiles are hand-cast from an original clay mold that I create using flowers from my garden. They reveal many delicate details that often are not noticed in real life - the tiny hairs on a stem, the intricate flower stamens and pistils, the tracing of veins on a leaf.

As every tile is handmade, the shade of the plaster and the exact dimensions may vary slightly. Each one comes ready to hang.  Famed versions of some of my casts are available in the Framed Botanical Cast Collection.
