This show-stopping piece features my ever-popular artichoke heart with its splash  of purple in the centre. It is perfectly complemented by the vivid red of the peppers, the warm hues of the golden beets, and the striking contrast of the portobello cross-section. The larger opening at the bottom adds balance to the piece with the neutral green of the nodding asparagus. 

There are two versions of this frame. They are designed so that no two vegetables are duplicated in the set. 

Product Details

This piece is individually handcrafted from preserved vegetable slices that I create using organic vegetables grown in my home garden. I carefully enhance each vegetable by hand to retain their vibrant colours for years to come. They are mounted on a textured, cream coloured background, double matted, and framed in a simple elegant black frame under glass. They come ready to hang.

As is the nature of botanicals, no two are ever exactly alike and your piece will vary slightly from the one pictured. Different vegetables may sometimes be used depending on availability.
