'5 Windows, Pepper Option' by Botanical Art by Diane De Roo

This piece is made for pepper lovers! Each window showcases a different pepper, all of which I grow in my own garden or find at the local farmer’s market. The variety of shapes, colours and sizes of peppers seems almost limitless! Here I have chosen green jalapeños, red fresnos, tiny Thai bird chilis, mini golden bell peppers and several varieties of long red peppers. I slice each one carefully in order to retain the elegant stems and golden seeds that add warmth and texture to the piece.

Product Details:

This piece is individually handcrafted from preserved pepper slices that I create using organic peppers grown in my home garden. I have chosen yellow mini bell, red fresco, green jaIapeno, mini Thai chilli and various long red peppers to create this vivid pepper collage. The slices are carefully enhanced by hand to retain their vibrant colours for years to come. They are mounted on a textured, cream coloured background, double matted, and framed in a simple elegant black frame under glass. This piece can hang vertically of horizontally. As is the nature of botanicals, no two are ever exactly alike and your piece will vary slightly from the one pictured. Different vegetables may sometimes be used depending on availability.
