'Large Cottage Garden, Option Three' by Botanical Art by Diane De Roo
In the third and last tile in the Cottage Garden Collection the bleeding heart and the clematis vine flow over from the second tile, hanging over a group of lavender spikes. On this tile, penstemon takes centre stage and graceful poppy seed heads peek out from behind the veronica growing on the edge of the garden. This cast makes a stunning display hung on its own or as part of the collection

All of my botanical tiles are hand-cast from an original clay mold that I create using flowers from my garden. They reveal many delicate details that often are not noticed in real life - the tiny hairs on a stem, the intricate flower stamens and pistils, the tracing of veins on a leaf.
As every tile is handmade, the shade of the plaster and the exact dimensions may vary slightly. Each one comes ready to hang. Famed versions of some of my casts are available - please contact me directly if you are interested.
Medium: Hydrocal, a casting plaster designed to capture fine details
Dimensions: 12" x 13" x 1/2"
